Itouch Screen Not Responding?

Plzzz help me my itouch has not been dropped, or touch water and my backlight went out and my dad tried to fix it but when he putted it back together it didnt work anymore what is going on help me plzzz!! i cant touch anything with it not because it doesnt work anymore !!!!!!!!
