Am I proposing/planning baby too soon?

I recommend you wait a while. The divorce rate at the moment is sky high and people are enduring horror in the divorce courts after exactly the kind of rushed decisions you talk of. Someone i know has paid out millions over his life after a shambled marriage. His lesson was never to even think of marriage again. Prehaps that is a little too far, but seriously, make sure you KNOW this is the right thing to do, not a whim. If it is, then good luck and god bless.
